Pickle powder needs to mixed with water
Used to remove firestain (black and yellow stains on the metal) after soldering

Safety pickle when mixed with water it turns to sulphric acid but not as strong as the normal sulphuric acid you find in liquid form. It is less aggressive so not be so dangerous. But is still dangerous and needs to be handle with care once in liquid form, must wear gloves, googles and mask. The pickle will start out white but once it has been used adonzen time will start to go blue colour. This is due to the copper in the water. Can be used many times beofre needing change.
